Jeff,

Bavarians were supposedly at 150 men per company from 1809 when they moved to six battalions but I think this was short lived as by 1811/1812 battalions were back down to just over 800 men at full strength.

So I would keep then at 36's for the 1812 campaign

From September 1806, organised in 4 companies of 185 men.

Reorganised in 1811, each battalion changing to six companies (1 light, 1 grenadier and 4 fusilier) of 135 officers and men.

Line grenadier companies were detached and replaced by a fifth fusilier company in July 1814. The detached grenadiers were used to form the Grenadier Guards. In August 1815, company strengths were raised to 150 men.

NB Light Infantry Carabinier companies formed for the first time in April 1811, replacing one of the Chasseur companies. All the Light Battalions were absorbed into the line regiments in August 1815.
