What to say on my first ever post here?
1.The second edition of GdeB didnt include the detachable cribsheet of modifiers and tables etc.
I think it is availlable to down load on this site.
Can anyone point it out to me
2.A rules question
The rules provide that a unit charged in the flank has a significant -4 on any morale test.
Now I can understand that a big negative factor should apply to a formed unit. It reflects the " Shit- where the hell did they come from " effect as well as the impact of being caught effectively wholly unprepared.
But what about a unit that is already on the second round of a melee?
Having successfully charged home and pushed the enemy back wouldnt they be unformed and interspersed with the enemy.
As such there is no "flank" to charge. Any unit joining the melee from the side would be charging in on both the enemy and its own troops
There should be , I would suggest, a lower negative effect , say -2 to take account of the reduced impact and abscence of a cohesive flank but still so as to give the unit that has possibly manouvered itself into position some benefit
What do you other more experienced gamers think?
