If a cavalry unit of 18 figures charges home on a square of 40 infantry, do the infantry get the +1 outnumbering modifier?
I assume that the "infantry only count half their number" rule applies only to calculating casualties.
Also:
If a square is charged, but the first round of melee is a draw, with both sides continuing to melee, is the square unformed next move?
I wouldn't have though that it was. I can see that the cavalry would be, but not the square. Surely an unformed square is no square at all ...
