Absolutely! All must be small men with blond hair!
This is other Pavlov Regiment insignia in addition to mitras..

Well guys you've lost me, I did consider some pink rinse hair styles with the unstable colours used back then?

Anyway have managed to complete a cuirassier command for my Russian army (Maybe the Frenchman should have darker hair?)

Very nice stand! Dynamic and beautiful..
This Russian infantry colonel with Austrian Generals hat is somehow questionable among the others.. but all personages are splendid..

Thanks Sho and John for your kind comments.

Sho, I am afraid I don't have your skill or knowledge. I'll continue to paint away at my troops. If you point out at tell me what to change when I make mistakes I'll consider changing them. Thought i did ok with the hat, you live and learn.
Cheers
Paul

Its easy and simple.. plumes on officer hat..
Austrian general staff - green
Russian infantry - black
Russian cavalry - white
and Russian infantry officers below generals wear gorget.

Take the Tea and come again tomorrow..

Paul, they look great to me. I showed Nic Robson your Pavlov unit on Saturday - he loved them. Lucky you are so far away or I would lose my job as 'part-time AB painter' and all the fringe benefits that accrues to that job

cheers

Hi Sho, thanks for the heads up. I will change the colour to white at some point. The gorget would be a pain to change so will have to remain.

Hi John and John Von B,
The beer was great, well worth the wait. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad Nic liked my figs. You have no worries from be as I am a painfully slow painter and I know the quality of your painting. Would be great to have a big area to wargame and paint in Philippines but pipe dreams for the moment.

Looking forward to all the future AB releases.

Hope to see some more commands for smaller nations and a few specific for battles like a set for the allied monarchs at Liepzig and a Borodino set like Perry miniatures have done in 28mm. Would save me doing conversions.

Best
Paul
